Admissions principles
We are an inclusive and equality SEND provision provider and our pupils typically attend our setting from local primary schools and admit pupils who, for a number of factors, are unable to find or be admitted into mainstream school settings.
Our initial position is always to seek to be inclusive for all pupils. However, Brackley STEAM Park reserves the right to not proceed with the referral admission of a pupil if, on careful review from a safeguarding and safety perspective, the admission may be deemed detrimental to other children, or it is clear that it’s not in the best interest of the individual due to numerous factors. All referrals is reviewed with the SENCO and headteacher.
Admissions process
Admissions to Brackley STEAM Park are handled on a rolling basis throughout the academic year. SENCO, headteachers and or Schools Attendance Support Officer at WNC can get in touch using the ‘admissions’ email address below;
SENCO staff or deputy headteachers are required to complete a referral form and SENCO will arrange a brief meeting to organise a trial session to visit and meet and greet with the pupil and parent and then arrange a suitable timetable session term time only.
